The Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP) approves the University of Victoria’s certificate program in Environmental and Occupational Health as having met eligibility requirements for the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) certification. There are a number of factors BCRSP measures in their certification process including previous education and work experience, which means some of our students also meet the eligibility requirements for the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification. We continue to advise our students to connect with BCRSP to ensure their education choices satisfy the certification requirements.
