Course description

Artist books can be intimate, share ideas, hold memory; they are as diverse as artists themselves. You will learn introductory book binding and folding methods to make your own artist books. You will learn collage techniques, including hand sewing, and work with combining text and image for the book content. You will leave with the skills needed to adapt and reproduce artist books of different sizes and mediums in future creative projects.
