Garden Hospitality: Welcoming the Pollinators

COURSE

Course description

The creation of a pollinator garden is an intentional act of hospitality.

In this course we will celebrate the rich diversity of insect pollinators found in gardens on southern Vancouver Island. We will discover “who” these pollinators are and why they are so important, identify the many challenges faced by pollinators, and explore ways to design garden spaces that are safe and inviting for native bees and other pollinating insects.
