Code: EDCA006
Apply this course towards: Adult and Continuing Education

Course description

Please note this course was formerly titled EDCW006: Improving Performance through Learning Transfer.

Why do well designed learning programs sometimes fall short when employees return to the workplace? From Learning to Performance: Mastering Transfer explores this critical question by examining what truly drives behaviour change and performance improvement.

In this course, students will investigate the full spectrum of factors that influence training transfer—across the organization, managers, trainers, and learners themselves. They will analyze how workplace culture, systems, and expectations can either support or hinder the application of new skills on the job.
