How to apply to a program

To apply to a program online, you will need:

  • a valid credit card
  • Netlink ID (If you are a new student, then you will be prompted to create a new account and will be assigned a new ID)
  1. Find the program you want. Review the admission requirements to make sure you're eligible.
  2. Click the APPLY ONLINE button.
  3. Fill out and submit the online application. If you have an existing NetLink ID, you will need to sign in. Otherwise, you will be asked to create a new account.
  4. After you’ve filled out the online application, you’ll be taken to a secure page where you can pay the application fee(s) by credit card.

Notes:

It may also be possible for students to register by mail, fax, email or in-person. Please contact the Program Coordinator for more information. 

For Continuing Studies credit programs, you should apply to the program before applying for admission to UVic. If you’re a current UVic student, you only need to apply to the program.


International students

Learners must: 

  • be 18 or older by the program start date
  • meet Canadian visa requirements (unless studying 100% online)
  • meet the English proficiency requirement for their program

ELC programs

Business Programs

  1. Complete the online application and submit additional academic/professional and proof of language proficiency documents
  2. Pay the non-refundable application fee(s) and deposit(s) » Receive Letter of Acceptance for completed application
  3. Apply for the appropriate visa if studying on campus
  4. Pay the tuition fees for the first courses of program upon registration, usually three months before start date.
